Rhode Island United
During the covid stay at home, Rhode Island's economy needed a boost.
Rhode Island United was a grassroots campaign created to engage every Rhode Islander in the rebuilding of our travel, tourism, hospitality, and attractions industry by inspiring them to eat, drink, play and stay here. It was created at the height of isolation in May 2020. Rhode Island needed everyone to pull together to revive its covid economy.
Social media, hats, and t-shirts all carried the logo. This poster illustrated a graphic extension.
Gina Raimondo, Rhode Island's governor asked to help offset the lack of tourism by staying at a local inn or hotel. RI hospitality needed a booster shot for Covid 19.
During the height of Covid 19, Rhode Island State Troopers would not let cars with out-of-state license plates into Rhode Island. When things started to get better we had these messages appear at the Rhode Island border.
